Feeling can be so complex. But teaching your child about then is important! How to handle them comes with practice, so here is a short lesson on ways to calm down, when those big emotions are showing themselves.
After you watch the video, talk to your child about ways that you calm your body down, when upset. Be a model for your children. Then have your child draw a picture of a time when they felt upset or frustrated. What did they do to calm down? What would they do differently now?
